Dear Parent,

Thank you for all the time, love, and energy that you have invested in your son or daughter’s life. We know that you desire for your child to thrive during their college experience. We want this too, and we believe that part of their success in college is to grow in their relationship with God.

You may be wondering what Cru actually is. Our vision is to be a community where the gospel captures hearts, transforms lives, and launches men and women into a lifelong adventure with Jesus. Cru is a ministry that has been on the grounds of UVA and at PVCC for many years and has existed nationally for over 70 years, starting at UCLA in 1951. It continues to be our privilege here in Charlottesville to help college students know and follow Jesus Christ.

To help your son or daughter experience growth in their relationship with God while at UVA or PVCC, we have small group Bible studies, socials, prayer meetings, weekly large group meetings, as well as regional and national conferences throughout the year. We also partner with several churches in Charlottesville because we know that being connected to the local church is critical to our faith. Our posture towards the local church is one of collaboration, integration, and partnership.
